Each new year we run a FREE Thursday evening run session popularly known as Half Marathon Club. The aim of the session is to prepare for a spring Half Marathon / Marathon and will also benefit athletes targeting a Half Ironman, Marathon or Ironman later in the season.

As a team, we will running at BTR Liverpool Half Marathon on Sunday March 10th and hope you can join us there. Entires open HERE

The sessions focus on Tempo and Threshold work and are periodised as the months progress with sessions increasing from 10 - 18km, usually finishing by 7:45pm - 8:00pm. As the sessions are slightly longer than our Tuesday lead sessions, it may be wise to carry some nutrition such as an emergency energy gel. Each session starts with a group warm up. Then specific split times will be provided based off target Half Marathon pace or current fitness (5km time).  Being focused on your individual pace targets, it is slightly harder to keep groups together so it beneficial to bring a GPS device or at least a stopwatch to monitor your specific goal pace/targets while running. Please note, there are no changing facilities available.
