North Endurance

Who Are We?

North Endurance is led by myself (Paul) supported by two close friends and exceptional coaches/athletes Dani and Dean. Since starting our journey into endurance sports we have enjoyed the camaraderie, experiences and adventure that endurance sport and multi-sport has to offer. As members and coaches of our local community triathlon club, we have always tried to improve as athletes, and as coaches have had the opportunity to share our knowledge of competing and training to help athletes improve, supporting them in achieving their individual goals. Together we have over 30 years of competitive endurance sports experience covering a variety of disciplines over a multitude of distances, completing between us, 9x Ironman distance triathlons, countless marathons and some of the worlds toughest multi-stage ultra marathons. With a mix of interests, we continue to learn and educate ourselves across all disciplines and distances. We come from a variety of social and professional background but most importantly, we share a common set of beliefs and philosophy in supporting, educating and guiding our athletes in their development.

What Do We Do?

At North Endurance, we aim to guide, support, and encourage our athletes with their participation in endurance sport and multi-sport. As a team, we strive to make everyone feel welcome, irrelevant of geographic location, ability, experience, or circumstance. Based in Liverpool & Leeds, our coaches predominantly do 4 things:

  1. We provide athlete coaching with bespoke personal training plans.

  2. We offer group training opportunities

  3. We provide a team community of like-minded athletes with coach support.

  4. Provide FREE run sessions for local athletes

COACHING & SUPPORT

We produce training plans for individuals. We believe the key to improved performance is the need to train for your own goals, within your own boundaries, to your own limitations, around your own circumstances. We tailor our all our coaching plans specific to you, with the continued guidance, support, encouragement and enthusiasm of our experienced coaches. We strive to ensure our athletes arrive at their start line in the best possible shape, while maintaining a healthy and sustainable balance in pursuing their goals, promoting enjoyment and longevity in endurance sport.

RUN WITH US

Our Run Sessions are FREE! New runner or seasoned athlete, we firmly believe our sessions and community of inspiring runners will support your development. We meet at Sefton Park Boating Lake on Thursdays at 6.15pm (January through till May) for Half Marathon Club where we run mixed distances with the emphasis on individual pacing. The sessions are periodised building towards a spring Half Marathon/Marathon or mid-season 70.3 or Ironman triathlon. As I mentioned, our Run sessions are FREE… but we do need you to register your info HERE before attending. For all the details, visit our Run Session page HERE

We also lead run sessions on Tuesdays at 6.45pm on behalf of Mersey Tri. If you are not a Mersey Tri member, you must register your info HERE to run.
