Before The Off!

I fly off to Nepal 8am tomorrow from Heathrow. This wasn't the plan, and I have an unexpected 9hr stop over in New Delhi... it seems I got a bit over excited when booking my flights! In fact, the last few weeks have been fairly chaotic, but i'll save that for my '101 ways not to prepare for a 6 day trail race' blog post. But it's all part of dealing with the unexpected, and i'm sure i'll have many more things to contend with over the next 2 weeks.

ThankYou!

The kids and events team at Claire House Children's House Hospice sent me this canvas and letter before the off. I'm certainly not the one they should be thanking! I'm massively appreciate your support and have been overwhelmed by your generosity. Thank you! We have raised £2400!!!

Let's Do This

So.. This is it. I'm shattered.. not going to lie. At least I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to worry about the distance, the elevation, the altitude.. etc . Hopefully i'll catch up on some sleep, and be starting the race fresh and relaxed on Thursday, ready to soak it all up.

Thanks again to everyone who has donated towards the causes, the sponsors who have supported me, those who have lent me kit, helped me source kit, offered advice, and shared many of the training runs. I'll be thinking of you all when the going get's tough, and I have this beauty of a Jersey to remind me. Thanks for being a part of the team.

Best Wishes

Paul
