An Individual Fit For Comfort & Performance

Our bike fits serve to maximise your potential by optimising your comfort, stability, power output, and aerodynamics when riding your bike.

Fine-tuning your position and equipment can unlock free speed by making you significantly more aerodynamic, reducing your frontal area, and reducing drag. This in turn makes the rider more economical, riding faster for the same power output. We can advise on clothing and helmet choices while providing drills to practice holding your optimal position.

A fast position is no good if it’s uncomfortable. As we look to optimise your position, we listen to your feedback and work with you to ensure your individual position is stable and sustainable, ensuring you’ll be riding longer, further, and faster.

ThE PROCESS

Review and Consultation

Our bike fitting service starts with a review of your current bike set-up, coupled with a consultation of your general background, lifestyle, needs, and goals for your bike fit. This enables us to set some individual key objectives for your fit.

Assessment and Measurements

We’ll then take some physical measurements and perform a series of simple functional tests to establish any posture, strength, or flexibility limitations that help us make informed decisions during your fit session and provide advice that may help you to improve your cycling and hold a more desirable position when looking to extract performance.

Push the pedals

We’ll then get your riding on a static trainer so we can assess and discuss your current position and riding style, reviewing the three key contact points:

  1. Pedals

  2. Saddle

  3. Bars

Changes

We then discuss our findings and the changes required to improve your comfort, stability, or aerodynamic performance in keeping with your individual objectives. We’ll then set about making the changes, reassessing, and fine-tuning your position as we go to ensure we reach the optimum set up for you.

Post-Fit Report

Finally, once you’re happy with your new position we’ll record all your fit data for your future reference and of course, answer any questions you may have.

Equipment Changes

Any alternative or additional equipment that may be necessary to get you in the optimal position will be discussed so you can leave informed and source equipment changes if you wish.

TEstimonials

Phil Aspinall

“After 18 months into triathlon, I decided to go for a bike fit with Paul. Having done a lot of my own research I felt I had an okay starting bike position but after a couple of hours with Paul, he managed to find a position that was more comfortable, sustainable, and definitely more aerodynamic. Paul clearly explained any changes that were being made and the reasons why each of these changes would help me in both the bike and running off the bike.

The improvement in position can be shown from the bike splits at Oulton Park Duathlon. Knocking 4 minutes of the time from Oct 2021 to April 2022.

Would highly recommend anybody looking to improve their position to go and see Paul for a bike fitting.”

Dan Harbidge

“Very thorough and professional bike fit service. Understandable explanations were given throughout, and my feedback on achieving a fit that was an optimal blend of comfort and performance was listened to and acted upon. I would definitely recommend”

Patrick McKeown

“Fantastic, professional bike fitting service, with a full review of baseline position, cleat, saddle, and cockpit positioning, supported by photo and video analysis. Paul was thorough, informative, and keen to understand how the fit could be tailored to my own personal preferences, whilst providing insight into various options for an optimal position for me.

A fantastic service, I would highly recommend”

Lewis Robinson

“Had a bike fitting with Paul. In a matter of 2 hours, I feel like I’m in control and have way more confidence in my positioning on the TT bars. Paul’s knowledge is second to none and he spared no detail in helping me fully understand each component of the bike and my personal positioning.”

Sachin Goenka

“Top-notch level triathlon coaches. I had a TT fit with Paul today who through solid knowledge, precision and patience got me sorted with a really decent fit which I can build on. Can’t recommend these guys enough if you wanna step up your tri game.”

Paul Harbidge

“Following my fit, I’ve had the longer extensions fitted to my Tri bars and elbow pads swapped over as identified and discussed with Paul. It’s made a massive difference to my comfort and I’m able to hold an aero position for longer. Thanks for your input. A simple tweak but I’m sure it’s going to make a huge difference”

Chris Bradley

“Paul is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and meticulous. Exactly what you need to get the perfect bike fit. The changes to my bike have made a huge difference. Such a better ride now.”
